A GUIDE FOR PRIVATE BUYERS & BUSINESSES
How do I ship a bulky Alibaba or 1688 order from China to Europe?
Send a product link or photos and European postcode. We check acceptance and give a first estimate—not the final price.
For private buyers and businesses: accepted non-hazardous bulky goods from 30 kg to large orders.

ONE OR SEVERAL SUPPLIERS
Buying from three suppliers on 1688?
Suppliers delivering only within China use our warehouse after instructions are confirmed. Each gets a warehouse reference. We match arrivals to your order, count packages, coordinate ready dates and delivery addresses, and consolidate ready orders. No full container needed; large orders welcome. Late supplier? We agree a waiting plan before booking. Waiting, storage limits and charges need your approval—not automatically free.
THE REAL GOODS DECIDE
What happens at your China warehouse?
We match orders, count packages and send visible-condition photos or video, packed dimensions and actual gross weight—not functional or certification testing.
Why isn’t the product weight enough for a quote?
Freight uses package dimensions and gross weight, not product net weight. On a route using divisor 6,000: 120 × 100 × 100 cm ÷ 6,000 = 200 kg volumetric weight—not actual weight, price or a universal formula.
How are machinery crates and pallets checked before pricing?
For a crated machine or a palletised commercial order, Cargo Clearly checks each package’s dimensions, gross weight, lifting access and stackability—not only the shipment total. We send photos or video of what arrived. If the crate needs reinforcement, we confirm the work, then remeasure it before the final DDP price. This is a transport check, not machine testing or certification.
ESTIMATE FIRST. FINAL PRICE NEXT.
When is the final price confirmed—and when do I pay?
Supplier data gives an estimate. Warehouse and delivery checks confirm the final written DDP price, inclusions, exclusions and handover point. Unchanged cargo and scope: no surprise surcharge or second bill. Changes need a new quote.
No deposit. We check packaging, package count, packed dimensions and weight at our China warehouse. You approve the final written price, then pay the full shipping charge when the goods are ready to dispatch.
For sea freight, payment is due when the goods are ready for container loading. Air and truck shipments are paid when ready to dispatch—not after delivery.
What if I do not approve the final quote?
No approval, no dispatch. We discuss return or transfer and related charges before arranging it. Storage, return and transfer are not automatically free.
THREE ROUTES. ONE CLEAR START POINT.
How long does delivery take?
From China warehouse receipt to quoted delivery: air is about one week, truck is 27–32 days and sea is 45–55 days. Fit depends on accepted cargo, packed size, weight, postcode and current conditions.
DDP FOR PRIVATE & BUSINESS BUYERS
What does DDP mean for private and business buyers?
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) covers transport, import clearance, duties and VAT treatment to the written delivery point. Accepted private-buyer EU shipments need no personal EU VAT number, EORI or separate customs broker.
Importing for a business? Tell us where the goods are going and which import documents your business needs before we quote. We’ll confirm the paperwork and tax arrangements for your shipment. UK requirements are checked separately.
What information do you need for customs?
Later: each packed product’s actual name, material, use, quantity and value. “Furniture” or “machine” is not enough.
DELIVERY MUST BE DEFINED
How do delivery and updates stay clear?
Can you deliver to a home, shop or warehouse without a forklift?
No forklift at your home, shop or warehouse? Tell Cargo Clearly before pricing. We check the longest and heaviest package, road access and parking, then confirm a suitable unloading plan and who supplies it. A tail lift is not suitable for every crate. The final quote states who unloads and where delivery ends.
Why can’t I track every stage on a courier website?
Bulky freight may have no public tracking page. One adviser sends each relevant handover, status, exception and next step. These are proactive milestones, not live GPS.
What if a package is missing or damaged?
At handover, count packages, photograph visible damage, keep packaging and delivery records, and contact your adviser immediately. We compare warehouse records and explain next steps. Confirm available cargo insurance for high-value goods before departure.

CLEAR ANSWERS
Before you start
Do I need a full container?
No. We handle one item or large orders from 30 kg total. Acceptance depends on the goods, packing and route.
Does DDP include carrying goods inside?
No. Access, unloading equipment, indoor carry, stairs, unpacking and installation count only when written in the quote.
