THE CARGO
Doors, glass and long glazed products in one shipment.
The 49 packages combined doors, glass and long glazed building products bought in China. Together they occupied 30.51 m³ and weighed 4,620 kg. Each type needed different lifting points and protection, so final package count, dimensions and weight mattered more than the supplier’s product sizes.
THE HARD PART
A nearly one-tonne glass crate cannot be treated like a parcel.
One glass crate was close to one tonne. Its weight, footprint and fragile contents changed the handling plan. Two forklifts were used together to reposition it under control, and that decision was made before the international journey—not when a delivery driver was already waiting.

The warehouse recorded 49 packages, final packed dimensions, actual weight and visible packing condition. Photos and video showed what arrived and how the difficult crate was handled. This checked identity, quantity, visible condition and transport packing—not product function or certification.
BEFORE DEPARTURE
The packing was reinforced while there was still time to act.
The glass packing was reviewed and reinforced before departure. Foam protection, a rigid export crate and controlled forklift handling reduced avoidable movement. The work was recorded for the buyer. Reinforcement, special lifting and unloading equipment are confirmed again for every new shipment.
THE JOURNEY
The buyer received the steps that mattered.
The buyer received warehouse, final-price, dispatch, European-arrival, local-delivery and handover updates. They answered what happened and what came next without repeated chasing. These were milestones, not live GPS; the customs route, vehicle and unloading plan were shipment-specific.
